All employees undergo extensive in-house training and attend numerous professional course to ensure we deliver an excellent service.

Drain Cleaning & Unblocking

It can be difficult to find a reliable, trained, and equipped drain technician at short notice or for your pre-planned maintenance. But DALROD are always here to help, 24/7, 365 days a year!

   

Unblock Toilet 

We know a blocked toilet is not only inconvenient but also can cause hygiene risks to your workplace or home. Our team of experts are ready to tackle your drainage problem, no matter the time or day. We are always here to help!​

 

CCTV Drain Survey

A drain survey gives you an in-depth view of your drains using high-tech CCTV camera equipment. The camera records footage as it travels through the drain or sewer, to show any damage, or blockages. A full visual report will be given, including any findings and DALROD’s solution to the problem.

   

Drain & Sewer Repair

Many re-occurring blockages are due to damage or displacement to the structure of your drain or sewer. This will need repairing by lining or replacing the drain or sewer.

DALROD offer a comprehensive repair service, and we always strive to keep disruption and cost to a minimum by using “No-Dig’ technology wherever possible. 

   

Liquid Waste Disposal & Tanker Jetting

Whether you need a Septic Tank emptying or your gullies cleaning of debris, using our high pressured state of the art tankers, DALROD will dispose of any surface water, fat, oils and grease quickly and safely. The professional team are always on hand, no matter how big or small the job.

History of DALROD Drainage Solutions

1985
This was the year it all started. DALROD’s original founder, Walter Lane, recognised a niche in the drain cleaning industry and together with his wife Margaret opened the first DALROD office, running straight from the family home in Peterborough. This concept of a professionally run family business is still a huge and important factor contributing to the day to day running of DALROD. Friendly and knowledgeable operations personnel, highly skilled engineers and a management team with extensive industry knowledge all join together to deliver a highly committed level of service seldom seen in the drainage industry.

By 1987 Walters’ son Dave Lane and his wife Jo Lane joined the company, each working their way up through all roles in both the office and out on site, right through to present day, as company directors.

To mark the new millennium, DALROD opened its current head office in the centre of Peterborough, large enough to accommodate its ever-growing fleet of vans, tankers and CCTV Drain Survey units. The positioning of our head office also allowed us to offer a genuine 24-hour service to a wide range of areas around East Anglia.

This vast regional coverage was expanded even further with the opening of the first DALROD franchise in 2001. This large depot in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire now covers everywhere in the Cambridgeshire county, as well as the Ipswich and Norfolk areas.

To mark its 25th anniversary in 2010, DALROD opened a North East depot based in the Newcastle area. This office now offers our 24-hour service to customers in Alnwick, down to Darlington, as well as many of the surrounding areas.

In 2011 DALROD expanded its already extensive range of services to include Pump Maintenance and Pump Stations, allowing the company to offer a solution to an even wider range of situations.

August 2012 saw the purchasing of a new state-of-the-art relining system which undoubtedly helped DALROD to win a large contract to rehabilitate small diameter sewers in various locations across the UK.

Constantly seeking ways to improve its service to customers is always at the forethought of DALROD’s management team and a further new service was launched in June 2013 to allow CCTV Survey footage to be viewed remotely by DALROD’s clients at their own workplace – vastly improving the way CCTV drainage survey footage had been viewed previously.

February 2014 has seen DALROD make a significant £750,000 investment in new vehicles and equipment to reflect the growing confidence in the country’s economy and in particular the growth within the drainage industry. In addition to securing new franchisees across the country, DALROD has also teamed up with Amethyst Utility Surveys to provide in-depth utility detection surveys to offer a complete drainage solution from start to finish.

DALROD has grown from a small family business back in 1985, into a professional company who are well renowned and widely recognised within the drainage industry. DALROD’s vision and aspirations means we are constantly expanding, whilst still maintaining the friendly family values it was built upon. 

DALROD — Sponsor and club owners of the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms Ice Hockey Team.

 DALROD began their journey into sponsoring the Peterborough Phantoms back in 2009. DALROD not only provided sponsorship, but also support for The Peterborough Phantoms senior side, as well as the Junior Phantoms. In return, the Peterborough Phantoms are now known as the DALROD Peterborough Phantoms – quite an honour!  

In 2015, DALROD UK Directors Dave and Jo, showed their ongoing commitment to the sport within the city by becoming club owners.
