DALROD Coventry & Warwickshire welcome their first female drainage engineer to the network.
DALROD pride themselves on being a diverse and inclusive company, this is even one of the core values DALROD set their standards by.
In 2017 a report by The Young Women’s Trust highlighted that in key sectors such as engineering, men outnumbered women 25 to 1. Over the last year, it’s been highlighted more than ever the importance of equal opportunities for all is a must. Here at DALROD, we want to break down barriers and develop all our staff to help them achieve whatever career they choose.
Directors Chris and Anna Knight of DALROD Coventry & Warwickshire recruited Chelsea, an experienced drainage engineer at the start of 2021 to enable them to keep up with the demand on their local drainage company.
Chelsea will be rolling her sleeves up, hitting the ground running in servicing the customers of Coventry and Warwickshire along with the rest of the DALROD team. Chelsea will carry out unblocks, CCTV drain surveys, and drain repairs.
As specialists in CCTV drain surveys, Chelsea’s expertise in coding will also contribute to an efficient service of surveying, coding, diagnosis and repair, carrying out the job through from start to completion.
We all welcome Chelsea to the DALROD family and look forward to seeing her spread her girl power around the Midlands.
