Service Centre Director, John Oakes welcomed by MD of DALROD UK , Dave Lane

When John and Lisa Oakes of DALROD Brighton started their journey as a proud DALROD directors back on Monday 6th January 2020, they never knew what a journey they had ahead of them.

Starting a new business is never easy, but to start two months before a worldwide pandemic, was tough. But with sheer professionalism, John and Lisa put their heart and soul into making it a success.

Success comes in many ways, but customer satisfaction is ultimately the goal, and DALROD Brighton has this in abundance.

John reflects on his first year as a DALROD Director, commenting;

“As today marks the first anniversary of DALROD Brighton, to say this has been a year of ups and downs would be an understatement.

While a pandemic has swept through the world and new normals have changed and challenged the way many of us conduct business and how we live our home life. DALROD Brighton have been able to ride out these trying times and managed to grow our coverage and customer base.

This time last year we had a handful of customers and wondered where the next call-out was coming from. As we close out the year we have now completed over 700 jobs. These have ranged from minor blocked drains to substantial lining and excavation projects. On every job, we have made the time to focus on delivering a high level of customer service and workmanship which has resulted in a steady growth in our customer base. This is providing a very solid foundation as we move into 2021 and our second year.
Despite all the hurdles and obstacles, this level of growth is a testament to the robust business model of DALROD UK and the inexhaustible support received from those behind the scenes that provide accounting, marketing, technical and franchise support. I would like to ‘Thank You’ all the team for that!
