Last month, Director Paul Price of DALROD Merseyside & Chester had the pleasure of presenting Philip and Heidi Hughes with a cheque for £100 to donate to men’s mental health charity Manmind.
DALROD Merseyside & Chester are proud to be supporting a fantastic fundraising scheme; The Wirral Copper Jar. The Wirral Copper Jar was set up to help those in need in the Wirral. Many local businesses have signed up to help with fundraising, collecting loose change from colleagues and customers.
Lockdown has hit everyone hard in 2020, with mental health statistics rising daily. There are many reasons why you may suffer from depression and mental health illnesses, but men still find it a taboo subject. But with statistics showing men are three times likely to die by suicide, its time men felt it’s ok to ask for help.
Director of DALROD Merseyside & Chester, Paul Price commented “The Wirral Copper Jar have done an amazing job over the last 5 years since its started. There are more people out there struggling with daily life, unable to provide for their families, and it’s a real pleasure to say we help and support these people.”
Paul Continued “I am in peoples places of business and homes daily, unblocking their drains, but you never think I wonder how they are today. These charities are doing a fantastic job in raising awareness to us all in making sure people are ok, even if on the outside they look happy.”
If Paul or any of the DALROD team are at your property to unblock your drain, and you are feeling like you need to tell someone you are not ok, please do let them know.
