Today, members of the team at DALROD Peterborough took a trip to Sacrewell Farm to assist them with final preparations ahead of their reopening on Saturday.

Stevie Johnson and Sam Bews of DALROD Peterborough took Head Coach Slava Koulikov and goaltender Jordan Marr of the Peterborough Phantoms who DALROD sponsor, to help out as much as they could.

Sacrewell Farm is a long-time customer of DALROD Peterborough, and the DALROD team wanted to offer their support with the farm having many jobs to do before they reopen their doors to the public.

Stevie, Sam, Slava, and Jordan began by preparing the children’s play area by laying tree bark around the park, before helping out with tidying the decking, filling in rabbit holes, and other general jobs which needed doing around the farm.

“We just wanted to help a great city attraction get ready for reopening this Saturday. I have spent many days there and it is a real hidden gem in the city. I’m glad we could help Lee, Simon, and their team out a little before the weekend!” Stevie said.

Sacrewell is initially only opening at weekends, starting on Saturday at 9 am. They will have a pre-booked ticketing system in place, with limited visit numbers who will be able to book either a morning or an afternoon session.
