Catriona Berry is our newest addition to our ever-growing Head Office team at DALROD, Cat brings a wide range of knowledge and skill within the drainage sector and business management.
Cat joins DALROD with seven successful years within the drainage industry and managing the business successes across many sectors including Wendy’s Hamburgers in America.
Helping businesses succeed is Cat’s passion, she explains: “I love specialising in business management, it allows you to empower people and see them go on a journey, where they develop and grow to the demands of their customer. It’s all about ensuring you provide excellent customer service each and every time, so your clients will continue to return. Business management is about a proven business strategy with tried and tested processes and systems which ensure success.”
Prior to her arrival at DALROD, Cat was working with the British Franchise Association consulting with businesses throughout the UK, to help them grow. DALROD joined the Bfa as a member and Cat spent a lot of time talking to DALROD General Manager, Jon Kynaston.
“When DALROD joined the Bfa, I spoke to Jon quite a lot about the company’s business processes, as well as recruitment. My ears pricked up when Jon mentioned that they were looking to recruit somebody to assist with guiding our service centres across the UK in business management. Personal circumstances dictated the decision to join the DALROD team, as well as being a lot closer than traveling to my previous job.” Cat said.
Cat is clear about her objectives at DALROD: “I’m hoping to help enhance the structure of the company. We have the right people doing the right jobs to support our growth organically, building our network & allowing us to deliver our services to a wider audience throughout the country. We have remapped the territories which give us a clear understanding of where we would like to move when the time is right. It needs to be a slow and steady process over the next few years – that allows us to support each local franchisee and service our customers. I am looking forward to working alongside Derek Bullivant as a Franchise Manager. Derek is better with the technical side of the job, whilst I specialise more in the business side. Together we’ll be aiming to maximise business and help to show our business owners what they need to do on the ground to improve their business.”
From everyone at DALROD, we’d like to welcome Cat to the company and very much look forward to working alongside her.
