Within any business within any industry, there is one very important aspect that you should be considering before you inquire about using their services:

Are they accredited?

Making sure you seek out services from accredited businesses – that have been assessed to an industry recognised standard – is paramount to ensuring that you find exactly what it is you are looking for, with the added assurance that that businesses’ services have been certified by professionals in their fields.

DALROD are delighted and proud to let you our customers know that we hold the following accreditations.

SafeContractor, the UK’s leading health, and safety accreditation verifies DALROD’s compliance and connects contractors to leading organisations through an online portal. Being an approved member of SafeContractor means we have to comply with the vigorous standards set with evidence submitted continuously. As we are assessed by SafeContractor many businesses will bypass the health and safety paperwork and accept the SafeContrator certificate.

Each year the team from the industry-renowned auditors Achilles, embark on DALROD UK for several days to assess the processes and standards of our daily business.

Many of our customers require accreditations to ensure compliance and health and safety standards are met.

The four categories in both assessments that are audited are:

Assessments – Management System Evaluation & Onsite

  • Health and Safety
  • Environment
  • Quality
  • Corporate Social Responsibility

Achilles works to identify, qualify, evaluate and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide. DALROD are proud and pleased to have received 99% pass on our latest audit.

To ensure we are always compliant, CHAS offer members access to an e-learning portal, created in partnership with leading provider Human Focus. Available courses include:

  • UKATA Asbestos Awareness
  • IOSH courses, including Managing Safely and Working Safely
  • Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) – Legionella for Duty Holders and Legionella Awareness
  • CDM for Duty Holders and CDM Awareness – RoSPA approved

There are over 100 courses to choose from and the training packages

To become a member, CHAS assess applicants’ health and safety policy statement, the organisation for health and safety and their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to buyers and others.

Gold membership includes further validation checks using an enhanced prequalification questionnaire that goes beyond PAS 91.

Constructiononline assesses a company’s credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies. Some of these policies form part of the Cabinet Office Selection Questionnaire (SQ), which the public sector is expected to comply with.

All Gold members are assessed for SSIP. Their Acclaim team is accredited to assess and award ‘Deem to Satisfy’ SSIP certificates for health and safety – something that all construction buyers look for in supplier selection.

Constructionline’s national online database is the UK’s largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants, provides an up-to-date register of pre-qualified suppliers for construction contracts.

ContractorPlus is a web-enabled database that allows contractors to meet such demands and ensure total compliance to current health and safety legislation while gaining accreditation.

The system is used nationwide by companies to ensure they use contractors of the highest calibre and hold the relevant documentation to ensure safe working procedures within their properties, thereby reducing liability and ensuring legislative compliance.

The purpose of accreditation is to assess an organisation’s competence and ensure that recognised industry standards are being met. With all of DALROD’s accreditations and memberships mentioned above – as well as The Water Jetting Association –, you can be sure that, if you’re in the need of DALROD, we can provide you with quality service that has been tested, inspected and approved with the assurance of national standards.
